Your Email Address and Set-up Proceedure...
YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS:
With any Website produced by Outhouse Media an email address will be set up free of charge to sit alongside your domain name (website address). This can be "anything@yourdomain.co.uk". For example if you had a website built which had the address www.johnsmith.co.uk and you then required an email address for your website you could have enquiries, info, sales or even a name ie simon@johnsmith.co.uk.

EMAIL FORWARDING:
Providing your Website is hosted with ourselves, we can provide, free of charge, email set up and email forwarding to any email account. Therefore, you can still have a Website with a example address called www.johnsmith.co.uk and you can still have an associated email address ie. sales@johnsmith.co.uk in which to advertise and promote so that you have that professional appearance. However, rather than the "sales@johnsmith.co.uk" email address being configured on your computer we can set up a Forwarding Address on your account. This basically means that if you have an existing email account such as Hotmail or Yahoo and prefer to use this, we can configure your details so that any emails sent to (directly or through your website) to sales@johnsmith.co.uk will automatically be redirected to your preferred account. (website address).

POP 3 EMAIL ACCOUNTS:
For those clients who require more than one email account. This is again a Free Service, Provided to customer as part of their general Website Package. POP 3 email accounts basically means that your website can have more than one email address attached to it. For example you can have sales@yourdomain.co.uk, info@yourdomain.co.uk, accounts@yourdomain.co.uk etc. etc. (this can be also used for individual names of employees too). These email addresses can then be set up on separate machines so that individual employees or departments have their own, or again, as explained, these can be simply forwarded to one email account.

EMAIL SET UP / CONFIGURATION GUIDE:
At the time of your Website being completed and prior to your Website going live you will have decided upon whether you will be having a forwarding email account or a direct account with your preferred Email Address being set up and used through Outlook XPress. If you have chosen the latter method you will have been given your Email Specific Password in order to set up and test your Email Address. If you have not received your password, or if this has been misplaced or forgotten, please email us here to have your password re-issued and it will be sent to you directly. Once you have your password please follow the Email Set Up Instructions below. To set up your email account through Outlook X press, follow these steps...
